I Was Supposed to be Interested?

Ladies, grab your aprons and spatulas, it's time to lick the bowls of relationships.

Gentlemen, disregard this and wait for us to finish making your dinner.  Don't worry, you won't go hungry and the beer will be cold.

Ladies, how upset do you get when your man doesn't know what you want?  How aggravating is it when they don't want to do the things you want to do?

Get over it.

Men do not know what women want.  Women wonder why men don't know what women want.  Stop wondering ladies.  We are vague.  We do not elaborate.  We, for some ridiculous, unscientific reason, believe that men can read minds.  Men must have attended Xavier's School for the Gifted.  Ladies, let me tell you something:


Men cannot read your mind.  Men are completely oblivious.


Most men will admit to the above statement.  The following words that flow from a woman's mouth are the common words we use to get our mind-reading men to understand how we feel:

• I'm fine.
• I'm ok.
• I don't care.
• No  

Men if you're reading, I hate to break it to you, but that's all you're going to get.  I believe that we as women are missing a fuse, or there are two fuses that are not matched up correctly.  We think that the way we speak is so important.  We think that what we have to say matters and we shouldn't have to elaborate on why we are "Fine."  That's a four letter word, not an explanation.

Ladies, stop getting mad because your significant other takes the conversation - ""What do you want to watch?  "I don't care." "Football!"" - seriously.  You handed it to him.  Tell him what you want because he wants to know what you want.  He wants to know what you want so he won't make you angry so he was have to get a guilt trip later.

Don't you want to be the nice girlfriend/wife that doesn't put him through that guilty feeling?  Sometimes they don't feel guilty, but that's another day.

Stop being vague.  Stop being shy.  Tell him what you want.  Not only because it makes things a lot easier and smoother, but they find it attractive.  Don't forget that relationships are 100/100 and not 50/50.  Do what he wants to do and listen to him as well.  You are supposed to be interested.
