Colored a Picture of a Horse - Made it to the Fridge.

What a phenomenon Pinterest is.  Pinterest isn't for everyone.  I like to believe my Pinterest is full of amazing things.  From workouts to vegan recipes to pilgrim pups, my Pinterest is a wonderland.

So let's talk about this craze:
  • Pinterest is for women.  Guys sign up for it because Mashable says it's the next big thing.  After that, they get confused and bored and don't use it.
  • How is Pinterest different from Tumblr?  Tumblr is a place for Community GIFs, dramatic pictures of wolves, people feverishly arguing about tech through reblogs, and generally anything regarding the human race.  Pinterest is a sort of mother-ship for any and all things Martha Stewart related.
  • Don't look at your girlfriend's Pinterest.  That's where she's secretly planning your wedding.
  • You have Pinterest, here are some suggestions of what to put on it:
    • Cute pictures of cookies
    • Creative candlesticks for party decorations
    • A turtle looking out a window (Guilty)
    • Noodles shaped like hearts
    • A complicated french braid with a not so easy but claims to be easy tutorial
    • A picture of your dream crafting room
    • A zany couch
    • A girl wearing a pea coat you love
    • A cat painted like a panda bear
  • If you post anything that doesn't seem cute, twee, feel-good and romantic - a secret curator deletes it.
Pinterest is the online, social gathering that makes me feel like I am doing something, when in fact I am not.  I'm organizing, finding recipes, searching for Christmas gifts, finding Christmas gifts, and really making new friends.  Probably not that last part.  That last part sounded like I belong in this category:

OK, it's a time suck.  Pinterest is right up there with Facebook and Twitter.  I've had to add it to my daily, social networking extravaganza.  Now I check my email, create a witty Facebook status, send out a tweet, write a blog, oh yeah, don't forget the Pinterest.

Pinterest is pretty pointless unless you put some of the things you pin into action.  Don't worry, I made some cookies I pinned a few weeks ago.  Congratulations to me - I can confidently pin because I follow through.

But because I love my Pinterest, I'm going to share a few pins with you:

This is next for dinner.

For the love of Pinterest - Happy Pinning!
