Don't Be Scared

It's a rainy Saturday that will turn into a rainy Sunday.  Rain all weekend.  I'm enjoying some Arkansas/A&M action, and I think it's time to write a blog.  I don't have anything of great importance to say, but I'm just letting you guys know that I still know how to write and type.  In case you were wondering, "Why doesn't she blog as much?"  The inability to write and/or type is not the reason.

I am however going to write about some things.  I think it's high time to talk about a few of my favorite things.  We all go a little von Trapp every once in a while and want to sing about a few of our favorite things. I have the voice of an angel.  Sometimes, I sing better than I write.  But because of technology purposes and I don't feel like recording myself on my webcam singing this blog out, you're just going to have to read about it.

First and almost most importantly: My Sweatpants.
I own one pair, you read that correctly, one pair of sweatpants.  I bought these pants some time between three and five years ago.  I'm leaning more toward five years ago.  I know I bought them at Target and that's really all I need to know.  These pants are the most comfortable pants in the world.  They used to be too short, but I think I pulled on the ends of them so much they decided to remain stretched out.  They have bleach stains and a hole in the crotch.  I am more than OK with that.  I think of it as airflow.  I always wear undies with these pants.  I only wear these pants around people I am 100% comfortable with.  I only wore them once over the entire summer.  I lived in Alaska.  I should have been wearing these suckers every night. I can't post a picture of them because, well, I don't know who all reads this.

Anything bird related.
I like anything bird related.  If I see something with a bird on it, I feel the need to buy it. Most of the time, I do buy it.  This might constitute as a mental health issue.  Sooner than later, I'm going to be that lady from Home Alone 2, hanging out in Central Park covered in birds.
This coffee maker.
Back in the day, when I worked at Bed Bath & Beyond, I thought these were the dumbest inventions ever.  Apparently, I am dumb.  I have been using a Keurig on more than a regular basis for three years.  The Keurig is proof that I can commit to something.  I am loyal.  It also proves that I put coffee on a higher level than people.  I hope you're OK with that.
This beer.
I'm from Texas, I like beer.  I believe I didn't try this beer until Summer 2011.  I remember trying it for the first time, but I'm not going to go into that because apparently the fact that I have such an awesome memory is creepy.  I think it's a gift.  So is this beer.
Who doesn't enjoy taking pictures of beer in leaves?
I do.
Backing into sentences.
When I was in college, my Feature Writing and News Writing professor told us not to back into sentences.  On every occasion, she was correct.  When it comes to AP Style writing, you do not back into sentences.  If you have taken notice, I have backed into every sentence in this paragraph.  Though it's not ideal, I do it anyways.
This nail polish.
This is my favorite. The brand is not my favorite. It chips if you look at it wrong. I love this color. Unfortunately, it's a color that can only be worn during the times of year when it is socially acceptable to eat ice cream and snow cones. So in Texas, mid-March through mid-October.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt on a bike.
I have an entire blog entry dedicated to a dream I had about him. Still my most popular blog to date. He's just precious. Not so much in Looper. Maybe a badass precious? Is that possible? Of course it is - he's Joseph Gordon- Levitt.  Even though he's acting, the fact that he's on a bike makes him that more likable.  Really, anytime an attractive guy is working out, I find him more likable.  That could also constitute as a problem.

That's about it.  I'm going to finish out the first half of this football game and go workout.  That's some excitement.
