Rachel shared this video today, and I'm sharing it with you. Melanoma is common but scary. The big "C"-word is scary in any sense. Most of the time, melanoma can be caught early and easily detected by your own eyes, but there are those rare forms, just like any cancer, that sneak up on you in unexpected areas.
This isn't to scare you or make you nervous. This is to inform you. The 16-year-old me would have loved this information. I would have started taking better care of myself a long time ago - just like my mama always told me. We've all be affected directly or indirectly by cancer, so spread the word.
This goes for any and all cancers: Be aware and help others be aware. Go get checked. Take care of your body - God only gave you one.
